How to order online

Ordering online allows you to browse our pastry cases and see whatʻs available for purchase. Once an item comes out of the oven, cooled and ready for pickup, we add it to our online inventory. If an item is out of stock, be sure to check back at a later time, since we are constantly updating our inventory throughout the day.

MALASADA FAQ

Room Temperature Up To 1day. You can freeze them if you want to keep them longer.
We use 100% Canola Oil.
Depending on how many you order, the time can range from 2-7 minutes for most orders.
The texture of our malasadas is best appreciated when there are no fillings. We have a variety of flavored sugars to choose from.
Malasadaa contain dairy and gluten.

A: Order pickup times vary at the time you place your order. You can either choose your pickup time or select ASAP (which will vary as other online orders may be ahead of you). Orders can be ready sometimes in as quick at 15 minutes.
A: Everything from malasadas, Cake Bombs®, monster cookies, pastries, lattes, iced coffees and pints of ice cream!
A: During our COVID19 operations, we are offering curbside pickup on Waialae and Koko Head Avenue. Please have your order number ready and call (808)738-8200 when you arrive at your pickup time. We will bring your order to your vehicle.

ICE CREAM FAQ

A: We pasteurize all of our own ice cream mixes onsite and churn every small batch ourselves. They are handmade and hand packed.
A: We have 7 regular flavors and 5 in rotation. We try to have special rotational flavors in for 2 weeks before switching out to another flavor.
A: We donʻt use any stabilizers or added preservatives so itʻs best eaten within 30 days from purchasing.
A: Most ice cream cakes need 5 business days lead time.
A: Ice cream flavors depend on what flavors we have in the case at the time and how much lead time you give us. Most often, our regular flavors are available since we try to stock those daily. The fastest turnaround for an ice cream cake will be with one of our regular flavors.
A: Prices start at $55. Click the build your own cake button and submit your request for your customized ice cream cake.
A: Unfortunately, we do not write on any of our cakes. Most people will get letter candles or cake decorations from the local store.
A: We have 2 sizes to choose from. 6" and 9".

MALAMODE FAQ

A: The Malamode® is made to order with a hot malasada wrapped around our homemade ice cream, so it takes anywhere from 10-15 minutes to make upon ordering.
A: There isnʻt much time after we make a Malamode® before it needs to be consumed. Otherwise youʻll end up with melted ice cream thatʻs more like milk in a malasada that will be rather soggy. So they must be ordered in person.
A: Friday - Sunday 2pm - 5pm
A: We make them in 6 different ice cream flavors and your choice of sugar.  See our weekly flavor schedule to see what flavor we have!
A: No! We wrap our hot malasada around our homemade ice cream.

PASTRIES FAQ

A: Our frozen dessert Haupia Heaven is Vegan. We occasionally have specialty items that are vegan and/or gluten free. Follow us on social or check our weekly flavor schedule.
A: We do cater large events with pastries and goodies and offer discounts on bulk orders. See our catering page for more details. Unfortunately, we are not offering on site catering service at this moment.
A: We are continuously baking throughout the day in small batches. If an item is sold out, check back later in the day as our oven is putting out fresh items all day long!
A: Some items can be pre-ordered if you are craving a special flavor we don't in the pastry case. We do have minimum quantities that need to be met to bake a custom batch. Email us for more info.
A: Yes. Please look for the life preserver with the NUT ALLERGY notation.

SHIPPING FAQ

A: We ship every Tuesday and Wednesday from our Bakeshop in Kaimuki. If our shipping slots are sold out, you can always choose the next available shipping day.
A: Of course! Our goodies are made the same day they are shipped for maximum freshness
A: We ship to any of the 50 states, including Hawaii and Alaska! Youʻll get your box within 1-2 days from when we ship them.
A: All prices include shipping to any of the 50 states.
A: We have a great partnership with Goldbelly and ship exclusively through them. They handle all the logistics, communications, scheduling and coordination of the orders. They process the orders and all we have to do is make all the goodies, get them packed up and off they go!

Option 1: Heat in microwave for 15 seconds.
Option 2: Heat in toaster oven or air fryer at 250 degrees for 2-3 minutes.
